When should I choose pure PTFE instead of TPU?
Choose pure PTFE (pH 0–14, −40 to +300 °C) for strongly corrosive acids, alkalis, solvents, or continuous temperatures above +150 °C. TPU (peak +120 °C) is the better choice for abrasive, high-flex sifter and powder duty — PTFE is semi-rigid with only moderate abrasion resistance.
